In WE HAVE WALKED THESE TRAILS I explore landscapes where past, present and future are intertwined. While I consider the works to be explorations of landscapes or places, the normal hierarchy of the world is dissolved: Temporalities, sensations, scales and styles mix and intertwine in these works where everything is both present and disappearing simultaneously. Memories, sensations, visions, found objects, remnants and mythologies reveal themselves in the ground, in the sound of the wind against the long grass, in the light from the fire or the smell of ashes in the air.
